God’s Blessing

Once, a most pious man who never gave pain to others lived happily in a village. All the people of that village conveyed their profound reverence for him and eulogized him as God. Everybody was in awe towards his attribute of being so generous.
To see this God himself came to him and gladly said, “Your selfless life compelled me to bless you, so you are being given a boon–a person will be free from all sufferings whom you touch.” But the man denied to take it and said, “This is the work of deities.” Then God presented other option and said, “You will be given magical power so that all sinners may transform into good humans in your contact.” Again, the man rejected and said, “This is the work of prophets or angels, but I am a human and I am happy with my ordinary life.” Hearing the words God felt astonished and gave him the blessing of being so noble forever and got vanished.

Moral: Everybody should respect others humans.
